Delete your account
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app. Here is how, and what happens next.
Delete from the app
This is the fastest route:
- Open the Birga app
- Go to Profile
- Scroll down and tap Delete account
- Confirm
That is all — your account enters the deletion process and you are signed out.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account removes:
- Your profile — name, Birga ID, email address, profile photo
- Your current location and your entire location history
- Your saved places
- Your friend list and pending requests
- Messages you have sent and received
- Device notification tokens and sessions
As soon as you confirm, your friends stop seeing you on the map.
Timeline
| When | What happens |
|---|---|
| Immediately | You are signed out, location updates stop, and friends can no longer see you. Personal data is closed off. |
| Within 30 days | If you change your mind, the account can still be restored — contact support. |
| After 30 days | The account and all data are permanently erased from our servers. This cannot be undone. |
Where the law requires it, limited technical records (for example security logs) may be retained for a short period.
Changed your mind?
You have 30 days after confirming to restore your account. Write to support@birga-app.uz from the email address linked to the account.
After 30 days the data is permanently erased and restoration is no longer possible.
Cannot get into the app?
If you have lost your phone or cannot sign in, we will carry out the deletion for you. Write to us from the email address linked to your account:
We may ask you to confirm details so we can verify the account is yours. We normally complete requests within 30 days.
